Recap episode this week and from what I saw, it's labeled as 9.5.
I like this show quite a bit although a break for a recap seems kinda redundant. This does seem to cover some of the more important events like Alex's introduction, Twilight, etc though.

I know it might be so that the staff has more time, but in the age of the internet recap episodes are completely useless.

I liked that they use that PV for the opening. I personally like it better than the actual opening.

I actually thought this recap was pretty nice. Made some things clearer ( like the Twillights and their conditions as well as the Four Fathers and their roles, that we mostly just got hinted at)

Hopefully they are buying time so they can make some awesome episodes after this recap, still enjoyable though.

Although I'm not pleased that it was a recap episode, I'll be happy if this means that the next episode will have better animation.
Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.
MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

I liked the recap. I was having a hard time understanding what was going on in the anime, since nothing was completely clear to me. I'm more of a visual person, so the way the recap handled all the characters/families/key points was extremely helpful. Now I completely understand what the next episode will be about.

Pretty good as far as recap goes. It was nice to see them explain where each of the families currently stands. Also change in OP was a nice little touch.
MAL: A community that thinks every anime is bad, but rates everything a 7/10.

So glad that I'm not a huge manga reader, because the manga readers WHINE WAY TOO MUCH and have to RUIN every adapted anime for the ANIME ONLY WATCHERS!

Watch Shirobako, then you don't have to ask questions like this.
But basically, they doo it so they have something to give to tv stations, that have scheduled slots they need to fill.

As recaps go, that was excellent. Filled in a lot of the gaps with regards to character names and what they looked like. Should be able to tell Monroe and Ivan apart properly now.
